If you want to create a new directory, make sure you are in the right directory
where you want to add this new directory. Type in the new directory name in the
"New Directory or Filename" box and click "Create New Directory". The page will
be refreshed and your new directory will be in the listing.
Please note: the new directory name should be a valid UNIX system file name. The
major difference between UNIX and Windows is you can not have space in the file
name under UNIX system.
Copy Selected to Clipboard
You may copy multiple files to the clipboard. Just select those files and click
"Copy Selected to Clipboard". This does not delete the files from
the current directory. Once you have copied a file to the clipboard a new window
will appear on your desktop that will give you access to the clipboard.
Using the Clipboard
The main purpose of the clipboard is to move/copy files from one directory to another
directory. Select the files in the clipboard window under "Paste", change the directory in
the main window to where you want to put the files, and click "Paste/Delete" in
the clipboard window. You may also select the files in the clipboard window under
"Delete" and click "Paste/Delete" to delete files from clipboard.
Tip: If you copy a file to the clipboard before editing a file it can
serve as a second line of defense in the event of inadvertent file loss.
